The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, website and the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
