Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
